ReplyDeleteHello, my name is greta,from China. I have been Australia about 1 year and half. I alrealy done a interview about migrate to Australia and international students' life in Australia,who I decide to interview is Kitty Guan. The reason i choose her because of she is my good friend and i can understand her very well!
ReplyDeleteKitty is a Chinese girl. She has been here about same time as me. She was with her mother come to here. Because her mother wants to take care of her, and the idea to become a international students in Australia was her mothers’. But Australia and china are very different countries. There have lots of new experiences for them. When kitty came to Australia, she was 14, such a young girl even live with her mother she still got lots of experiences to change her personality and help to grow up. That was kitty said “since come to live in Australia, I change a lot ,I gradually become mature.”
Though that experiences helps her grow up. Some of them are not good memory for a teenager. When she was year 10, she just came to high school to study, there was none of Chinese in year 10.And pity kitty cannot speak English and cannot understand well. She felt lonely and hopeless during that time.
Kitty was thinking here life is much easier than china, like education. But the truth is totally different from what she expects before. I think the language is hard, that’s why she felt it was difficult to study. For each international student the hardest thing is language.
On the other hand kitty felt lonely and hopeless when she was year 10. She said “Australian students are nice and friendly , I can feel it, but not much !” when she said that, I was thinking maybe that’s right. Because of the culture is totally different. Sometimes when I with Australian friend get along , we can talk, we can get well . but we cannot feel the real touching thing like deeper relationship . it make so many international students make friends who are from their own country .
Time goes by, now kitty enjoy Australian life , but it is boring . she told me . I think so .
But I believe we will by the time goes gradually join in this community!
